Anderson has certainly become a hero of mine. I had to nominate a "business leader" for Person of the Year for a management class a couple of quarters ago. I nomininated Ray, of course. My business department professors just love it when I do stuff like this!

And I know I've said it in your comment boxes before, but Ray Anderson's is one of the most compelling interviews in the documentary The Corporation. Totally inspiring.

Gravatar Anderson will speak October 10, 2007 at the Nike world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. The event, "A Common Path for Success & Sustainability," is presented by The Oregon Natural Step. The Natural Step was the organization Anderson first worked with to recreate Interface as a sustainable company.
Also on the speaking platform will be Dr. Karl Henrik Robert, founder of the Natural Step; Bob Willard, author of "The Next Sustainability Wave: Building Boardroom Buy-in"; and Paul Dudley-Hart of Mercy Corps. See http://www.or-natural-step.org for more info.

bulls eye when it comes to the best approach for the environment.

In terms of achieving the greatest healthiest overall environment, a full scope or wide angle viewing of the environments best interest needs be applied!

Taking a full scope approach to the environment means that promotion of all the environments elements get some form of help...take a look at the littered trash on the highways, what is truly being done to help create clean earth ?
