Nice post, but as of the past couple of weeks I would put Farve on top of Manning and Brady.
Farve has just been crazy lately!

A.J.,
I will certainly grant you Favre over Manning for the past three weeks, but not Brady. Let's look at Favre's last 3 weeks, all wins (with NFL pass defense ranking in parentheses), followed by Favre's stats:
34-0 over the Vikings (32nd): 33/46, 351 yds, 3 td's
33-22 over the Chiefs (18th): 24/34, 360 yds, 2 td's, 2 int's
19-13 over the Broncos (8th): 21/27, 331 yds, 2 td's
Now let's look at Brady's last 3 weeks:
24-20 over the Colts (2nd): 21/32, 255 yds, 3 td's, 2 int's
52-7 over the Redskins (22nd): 29/38, 306 yds, 3 td's
49-28 over the Dolphins (5th): 21/25, 354 yds, 6 td's
Totals for Favre: 78/107, 1042 yds, 7 td's, 2 int's
Totals for Brady: 71/95, 915 yds, 12 td's, 2 int's
Two factors stand out for me over the last three weeks for both players. First, Brady put up comparable numbers to Favre while playing against better pass defenses. Second, Brady also put up 5 more touchdowns.
I will be fair: Randy Moss accounted for 4 of Brady's touchdowns during those weeks. But even if you remove Moss's 4 touchdowns, that still leaves Brady with one more touchdown while playing against better defenses than Favre did.

Wow what astute analysis. I would never have known that Favre, Brady, and Manning were the top three quarterbacks in the NFL. Someone alert ESPN!!

I'm not sure if it's fair to count the statistics against the Dolphins, but I'll allow it, lol.
I think that Brady and Farve could be even. Do you think Farve would be just as good as Brady if he were on the Pats instead?
It would be awesome to see the Packers vs. the Pats (instead of my Giants, lol).

Anonymous, if that is your real name, why don't you go back and re-read the post. The purpose was to decide which of the three was the best, NOT to name all three the best.
