Well written. I like when you mention the fact that so many others partook in the same ritual thousands of years ago. I feel that sometimes taking the host. I suppose it's a Catholic sentiment to note what drops in the ocean we are when taking communion. Somehow, it's a comforting feeling to feel so little and so transient. I suppose we have communion to have that everlasting in us, that ocean we're drops of.
You know that you receive Communion for the forgiveness of your sins, and to be in communion with other believers.
