Oh, my, just the thought of knitting with EcoWool over the summer gets me sweaty!

Love the blanket, beautiful colors. You make me laugh, why do we think of making the biggest ,warmest item in the dead of summer and out of wool. Been there, done that several times. I remember those hot , humid days in the city and no air conditioning.

LOL about knitting blankets in the summer. Too true!!
Thank you for telling us about the new Hercule Poirot. Does it star David Suchet? If so, I'm going to watch that right away!

Blankets everywhere... I admire your ability to hang in there that much garter stitch is likely to kill. Transformers isn't on my list either, although even without the wise words of Mr. Ebert I wasn't dieing to waste my time on it.

Lovely blankets! I've been itching to try the Cascade EcoWool ... perhaps not in blanekt form just yet, though. I've got to remember to bump up the new Miss Marples in my queue. Yay for Doctor Who! I'm almost through the Tom Baker series and am not sure what I'm going to do ...

Ooooooh! I LOVE David Tennant! Did you ever hear him speaking in his native Scottish accent? EXTRA dreamy! I'm SO going to miss him as the Doctor!

You are right about the beautiful look to the new episodes, but I do miss Miss Lemon, Hastings and Superintendant Japp. I am looking forward to Miss Marple next week.
And David Tennant and Dr. Who are favorites in our house.
Enjoy and Happy Knitting!

Your Log Cabin looks gorgeous, if hot! Don't they eat yarn? I could knit five sweaters from the yarn mine has used, I think.
Didn't catch the new Hercule Poirot, he's not my fave Agatha Christie character but I'll have to check out the new format.

First of all, thanks so much for recommending Mr. Pip. It was awesome. Right after that I picked up White Tiger. I can't put my finger on it, but there's a definite difference between a Booker and a Pulitzer book. Do you know what it is - you the Lit Lady?
I didn't know Cascade had a yarn anywhere approaching affordable - thanks. I like Cascade but I hate the $$ tag. Even I can't imagine knitting a blanket in the summer. You gots True Grit.
Head about Transformers on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me - will take a pass.

Well you could be hand quilting a king size quilt during a heat wave too. But weird you are having a heat wave and it is nice and cool here. Mother Nature is playing games.
And yes, garter stitch does eat yarn. Lots and lots of yarn to be exact.
