What a helpful kitty!
Yum, I love green chile. It's one of the things I dearly miss about Albuquerque.

Yum! The quesadillas look good ... and I'm sure the invitation wouldn't look nearly as good without the help of a trusty kitty.

Your quesadilas sound look delicious. I like the idea of adding green chilies. My husband and kids call quesadillas "Scoobie Snacks" for some unknown reason. Their "secret" ingredient is green taco sauce.

Aw, did she at least wait until the ink was dry? Or do some invitations have paw and butt prints?

That's really good information on making invitations. DD and I were talking just today about mailing things - we just don't do it anymore because of the expense of stamps. Everyone is online. The exceptions of course, are weddings and showers. So much nicer to make it personal like that. I'll have to play around with that.

Thank you for the invite tip, I have a baby shower in my future I saw Public Enemies last night - It was a little slow in my opinion, but I looked hard for your alley!!

Yum! Roasted corn and chilis. You know how to make a girl's mouth water.
Great tip on the invitations, too.
BTW, are you going to Lollapalooza to see Neko Case?

I was just reading that post too over at heather ross's! I love reading about different design processes. Your invitations look great, I really like the scallop edge on the paper.

Thanks for sharing how you made the invitations. I haven't done that before, but would like to learn. You made it sound pretty easy.

Kitty help is always in the form of supervision and approval. They are your built in QA department. The fact that the invitations got the kitty butt stamp of approval means quite a lot.
And I love quesadillas every once in a while. I saw that they are now selling a quesadilla maker in the stores. What ever happened to an old fashioned skillet?
