The book also looks like something I would really like. I saw it on some one else's blog and put it on my Amazon Wishlist. I may have to just buy it myself for summer vacation reading!

I love your story about the old apartment with the hot oven. It reminds me of my first apartment that had all metal cabinets in the kitchen, and a classic Frigedaire refrigerator.

Madison is really a spectacular place - I wish I lived closer - like walking distance to the Farmer's Market would be such a treat. Stella Spicy Cheese Bread - if you haven't tried it, you must.

I'm going to have to try those muffins! I just made raspberry buttermilk cake (from smitten kitchen) again because I didn't want to berries from last weekend's farmer's market to go bad (they would ridiculously cheap and so delish!).

I should try these muffins- I love just about anything with berries and streusel!! Sounds very yummy! The trick will be keeping them from being devoured by the kids before Mom and Dad get one or two!
