Gravatar I just queued that baby vest today! Lucky you with the Sweet Georgia - that yarn looks beautiful. And congrats on the start of your summer!

Gravatar Congrats! You won some gorgeous yarn. Heh - you know I took a substantial break in the middle of my moderne, too. I think it's a smart thing to do.

Gravatar oooh, congrats on that beautiful yarn and those candles! lovely. i am impressed -- that looks like serious progress on the blanket. i haven't been able to tackle anything bigger than a lap blanket!

Gravatar I love, love, love the Gilmore Girls. Knitting and Gilmore Girls sounds like a divine summer plan!

Gravatar Knitting a blanket is a task that needs built in breaks... you might go crazy other wise.

Gravatar ah, turning in final grades, *always* a great feeling! Mine went in yesterday too.

lovely yarn, that will be lovely to knit with.

Good luck with blanket, it will be great this winter.

Gravatar Let me know if you need more Mission Falls. I've got quite a bit in stash. Best of luck with putting the finishing touches on your Log Cabin.

Gravatar Congratulations on the win. That sure is some purty yarn.

Enjoy your summer! Sounds like you have some fun plans/knitting in your future. I love that Highlander cardi too!

Gravatar Congrats on your win. Your blanket looks very cozy.

Gravatar Lovely yarn! Hopefully, that helped a wonderful start to your summer. Good luck on the blanket ... it looks pretty substantial already.

Gravatar What a great prize! The blanket is looking good, even if it isn't going the direction you wanted Take care!

Gravatar Congratulations on your winning swag! Pretty stuff.

My Log Cabin wasn't a stash buster either. Oh well. I've got to finish it, one of these days.

That Highlander cardigan is beautiful. Variegated yarn with stitch patterning? Ex-cell-ent.

Gravatar That's lovely yarn, and I adore beeswax candles!

I know the light feeling of an empty gradebook and waiting needles -- enjoy!

Gravatar Hi Jodi, saw your comment on Posie's blog, re sewing machines. I'd suggest going to a local sewing machine shop, and ask for a good secondhand machine, a Bernina or a Janome. Don't be sucked in by lots of fancy stitches - no-one ever uses them. Hope this helps.

Gravatar Congratulations! I've always wanted to try some Sweet Georgia. Please let us know how you like it!

Enjoy your summer!

Gravatar You will love Sweet Georgia yarns. I have several skeins of her older stuff. Enjoy it.
