"Rave Hoover!" I had no idea what to call that noise, but as soon as I saw that phrase I was sure of what you were talking about.
Yeah, I like it too, but I don't know much other than video game/classical remixes. Is there much good original stuff?

Not sure if we're on the same wavelength, but if your question is regarding the 'rave hoover', I'm not sure that it's something I would classify as a genre - it's more a noise that was popular in loads of rave and techno tracks during the early 90s. I can't actually think of any examples off the top of my head but I've got lots of mixtapes from that period- Bassrush etc - packed with unknown songs with similar hoover-type noises. Lots of late 90s drum 'n' bass utilised similar sounds, particularly Ed Rush and Optical / Trace / Ram Trilogy. Seems to be making a comeback again.

We did used to call a type of rave music hoover music and we all knew what we were talking about.
Loads of tracks up this time J. Bit of catholic guilt ? Hahahahahahahaha
Seriously though great stuff. Mc Gee was God once upon a time and yes I think you can pinpoint it back when he came out of rehab. Bill Hicks would have thought the same.
