Gravatar What a thoughtful post. Thank you.

Gravatar Totally agree. Really enjoyed reading this. It's a Kennacky kinda day here with big waves and lots of rain. Gonna download the tracks and transport myself to Corny and slug it out on the sofa. Knowhatimean J??

Gravatar Thanks for posting the Soft Ballet remix, not heard that before. This album is one of my all time favourites also. Quite, quite brilliant.

Gravatar Yeah fantastic album, i bought it (on tape) from hmv in oxford street. evan dando was doing an instore appearance that day, and the whole store was full of indie kids and teenage girls. rdj was apparently at kingston uni at the same time as me (briefly). top stuff joe!

Gravatar Great post.. Quoth blew me away when that came out, I remember first hearing it on a Joey Beltram mixtape from some rave up north.. listening to it now i cant believe how hard it is..
I also remember a snippit of it playing on the chat show.. you know those indie chart run down things. Brilliant

Gravatar Good to hear this stuff again. I overdosed on rdj in the 90s and haven't really listened to anything except Classics since. Maybe tonight is a Works 2 night.

Gravatar Sounds awesome. Although I'd probably give it a listen even if the only thing you said was that it sampled Julie Andrews.

Gravatar This might well be the best piece ever written about a sublime album. When Richard James gets over the marvelous musical ADHD he's had since '95, I secretly hope he returns to the structured contemplation of his earlier stuff.
