Gravatar Joe,

Great site - I've been following it for a few months now and it has provided me with a much needed input of new music (having 2 young kids, my days of trawling record shops are over).

It was via the New FADs that I stumbled across your site a few months back. During the torturous process of recording the best of my old vinyl onto the PC, I reached 'Get Better' and was so impressed at how little it had dated that I googled them and discovered your original post. I've always thought they were criminally underrated and was delighted to see that I'm not alone in this view. Saw them a couple of times at King Tuts in 91/92 and they were outstanding live too.

Anyway, haven't heard the Peel Sessions before so this is a welcome treat. It's also reminded me of my intention to search out my cassette copy of Body Exit Mind which hasn't seen the light of day in about a decade.

Congratulations on the new arrival (the sleep deprivation's a killer but it does get easier) and keep up the good work.

Gravatar Hey Rich,

Good to hear from you and I'm really chuffed that you've been enjoying the site. Comments like these make it all worthwhile.

There's a link here to download Body Exit Mind -

http://dirkwearswhitesox.blogspo...-body- exit.html

Saves you the trouble of faffing about with cassettes.

And I'm gradually starting to get used to living without much sleep, though I go back to work on Friday so I'm sure that will change everything!

Thanks again and take care,

Joe

Gravatar Great stuff - thanks.

I was also interested to see Motorbass appear. Haven't heard the earlier stuff but I bought Pansoul when it came out on the strength of Etienne de Crecy's involvement. From memory I was slightly underwhelmed but I'll willing to be proved wrong on this so I'll give it another go - it's been a long time since I last aired it.

Cheers,

Rich
