Bizarre truths of the 90's: Launch party of Logical at Ministry - in the bar, the DJ line up was Jazzy B, Mister C, and Chris and Ben - yes, me and my mate Chris The Chef were asked to spin tunes for his launch party, as a thank you for sampling hip hop breaks of mine and jazz of Chris's on his DAT. Chris and Danny worked together in the Ponderosa restaurant in Watford in the 80s, and Chris carried on cooking and collecting records.
We simply shat it, and played for about half an hour, before a voice asked me what I was playing. It was Jazzy B, and the tune was You're Not Coming Home Again, by Groove Garden on Tommy Boy. After that I called it a night and got battered! One of the wierdest nights of my life....
