The deserve no mercy or compassion. SIDS would be a blessing compared with the dismemberment and murder of Iraqi children by American "Shock and Awe" bombs. I think the photo sucks for a (professional?) portrait - the flowers in the close foreground are far too dominant over the subject matter but maybe it was planned that way to distract the onlooker - just how many professional harlequins did it take performing heaven knows what bizarre comedy routine behind the camera to elicit those fake smiles - she reminds me of the python in Jungle Book and he looks like a man who is desperate to get away to more important business
I say give the kid up for adoption to Homer and Marge - he would certainly have a more stable and functional family upbringing

Funny how on CNN, and in the picture here, the baby is shown with the grandparents, not with his parents. You'd almost think it was their baby.
