i think i met her alumni weekend two months ago. i'm pretty sure it was the same lady. with one bulging eye.
Well, you couldn't have seen this "surprise" marriage coming a mile away.. Obviously there is a confirmed bachelor ceiling in the Republican Party. I am very annoyed, though, that there have got to be a number of guys around the Sunshine State (and elsewhere) who know the truth and are remaining silent. But,we do tend to have some of our own worst enemies among our population..
This story is funny as hell, but I'm still not sure he's a "confirmed" gay... after all, unless he's been almost entirely celibate, wouldn't there be someone willing to dish? You know how teh gay love to kiss and tell.

I was amazed that this guy got elected as da' guv here in this (mostly) narrow-minded, right-wing state, given the amount of rumors floating around about him, but I guess as long as he toes the line for the Repugnicans, they're willing to look the other way. And since he was so successful in hoodwinking the state, I guess he figures he can pull the wool over the eyes of the rest of the country (especially with this beard hanging off of his arm).
And I know this sounds like more of the same "I know this guy who knows some other guy who knows something" kind of gossip, but it does add more fuel to the circumstancial "fires" for me anyway, my co-worker's mom actually went to college with Charlie and knows for certain that he's gay.
(sigh!) I don't really feel so bad for the woman (since I'm pretty sure she knows and this is all arranged between them) but that in this post-Will-and-Grace world, that people still think it's necessary to go to these lengths to gain acceptance (not to mention that Charlie, personally, doesn't have the guts to stand-up and be honest with the public that he seems all-too-eager to represent).
Really no offense to any you but for the sake of the rest of us all of Florida just needs to be flooded and reclaimed for the Everglades, from the bottom up to the tippy top.
