Daily Show / Colbert via internets is enough. & Joe, The Onion, NPR--online and via radio, NPS Morning Report (what trouble people get into in National Parks nation-wide), Facebook, Grist, Boblog, Le Monde, The Stranger, emails and the daily walks, bike rides, kayakings & face-to-faces rounds it out.

I haven't had a television in over ten years, so I have no use for these confounded technologically superfunky whatchyamadoodles. I've been working on expanding my vocabulary. I aspire to be as eloquent a speaker as George W. Bush! Hee, hee.
Project Runway, Gossip Girl, Top Design, Daily Show, the new 90210, America's Next Top Model, Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, and Antiques Roadshow. Depressingly, it's been a reality kind of summer -- all that teen shiz started this week.
I don't even watch TV anymore, except for the occasional news program. Prefer to curl up with a good book, usually art, poetry, biography, or classics of literature. Much more nourishing than pop cultural trash, and no advertising.

I thought those were called a "remote", and no I don't have one.
the tv broke a few months ago and it is just sitting gathering dust until i take it...somewhere. it is not worth fixing since it is old skool: small screen, kinda big and bulky.
i would not even know how to operate TIVO.
i never even got regular channels on the tv since i did not have cable or even rabbit ears. i just used to watch dvd's occasionally.
am i the only person who still owns a vcr? hahaha. not that i can use it, but i still have it. and vcr tapes.

Nothing. After two months of trying to watch a single dvd, I cancelled my Netflix. I am having too much fun outside right now. I will resume indoor stuff in a month or so.
Right now it's the PBS broadcast of "The Light in the Piazza", all of this season's "The Closer", an episode of "Jeopardy"(because a friend was a contestant, and the last three years of the Tony Awards, because my partner is a producer and I got on camera all three years. Mom and Dad were sooooo proud!!
Don't have either (I thought TIVO was that interactive game?). I use television the way it was meant to be used -- as an opiate of the masses. Though I pay attention for Judge Judy -- love that woman!

Mostly a bunch of nonsense I never get around to watching. I did stumble upon McMillan & Wife not too long ago on one of the NYC stations and I hit all the season pass stuff to get it whenever it's on.
Now I occasionally see one pop up on the list and it's a treat to watch. M&W was always my favorite of that revolving series of crime shows - HATED McCloud!
i have a totally gay dvr at the moment - a documentary about kenneth williams and round the horne, scissor sisters live in trafalgar square and some international/league rugby matches but by far the most fabulous is a rockumentary about parliament/funkadelic
