Gravatar Nothing. Don't own one, don't need one.

Gravatar I don't own or have one either. I watch 3 to 4 shows as it is.

Gravatar The gold medal soccer match from the Olympics. I already know who won... just haven't found much inspiration to watch it.

Gravatar Mad Men
and I save some of my favorite movies when they come on cable:
Caravagio
Edward II
Catch 22
Far From Heaven
Gallipoli

I love my DVR, need to use it more often

Gravatar nothing is on it, i never use it.

Gravatar I'm going to go out on a limb and sound really backward. I don't even have cable, let alone a DVR. More of a book worm, internet surfer, and random movie renter. However, I do still enjoy the modern conveniences of running water and electricity So, I guess I'm not totally backward after all.

Gravatar Good Eats
Surviving History
Sordid Lives

Gravatar I need a sugar daddy so I can have Tivo

Gravatar GOP Convention

hehehe Sarah Palin put her jet on EBAY, and Cindy McCain bought it!

Project Runway
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

and...

Chelsea Lately.

Gay..Gay...Gay...Well, and anti-gay, but funny anyway!

Gravatar don't own either

Gravatar .. I subscribe to Hi Def Direct TV.. and I've got a big 1080i LCD to watch, (the Olympics were amazing) and a DVD player to play the movies I rent, but no DVR .

Gravatar Project Runway
Top Design
ANTM
Graham Norton (x3)
Frank Llyod Wright Documentary
Titanic Documentary

So - its gay, reality for me

Gravatar I don't think I have a DVR and I don't know what a Tivo is.

But what's on my little cable TV box on top of the TV recorder thingie is Project Rungay. I mean Runway. What else?

Gravatar I just signed up for cable before the Olympics, for the first time since 2004.

DVR? You've gotta be kidding.

But the Netflix I've got at home now is the two-disc, six-hour "The Best of Youth" film from Italy.

Gravatar Yikes, this is rather revealing. Currently on TiVo:

The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Mad About You
Arrested Development
Cash Cab
The Graham Norton Show
The Odd Couple
Absolutely Fabulous
Real Time with Bill Maher
Entourage
Yankeeography
The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman

Gravatar Weeds
P'Run
Daily Show
Real Time w/Bill Maher

Gravatar Mad Men on AMC. Like the Sopranos without all the murder. Won the Golden Globe for best drama. All that and hunky leading actor. And more hunks.

Gravatar Mostly just tons o' Daily Show and Colbert. I think that buried deep down in there is an episode of My Name Is Earl and/or 30 Rock from a year and a half ago.

Gravatar I don't own either - fact is there isn't too much worth recording on Australian TV.

Actually - I don't even have a DVD player.

Gravatar What's a TIVO? ; )

Gravatar Pretty much the same as others : Daily Show, Runway, Chelsea Lately, Mad Men, Keeping Up Appearances...

But my big guilty pleasure:

The Robin Byrd Show (just so I can ff to the interview/phone-in part. Occasionally I'll hear myself calling in drunk 15-20 years ago. Weird.)

Gravatar My TiVo is full of Olympic diving in glorious basket-featuring high definition. Not deleting that for a while.

Oh, and Daily Show, Project Runway, etc. Waiting for Heroes to start!

Gravatar Willow Palin licking her hand and then using it to stroke her baby brother's head at the RNC.

Gravatar We have one but never use it. So to answer your question "What's on your DVR?"..... Dust.

Gravatar ATWT (I just cant quit Luke and Noah), Top Gear, Nightline, Charlie Rose, John Adams, an In The Life episode from a year ago, and an ep of GayUSA with Kate Clinton. Oh and P.R., Million Dollar Listing, Color Splash, & The Golden Girls. Is it gay enough?

Gravatar A different world
venture bros
days of our lives
soul train
angel

Gravatar hm, what is going to record or what has already recorded? what has already recorded: several cooking shows and the republican national convention. what has yet to record: swingtown, pushing daisies, lost, grey's anatomy, desperate housewives. i don't have cable, btw.

Gravatar Mad Men
Project Runway
But we're usually watching politics or Lost on DVD.

Gravatar mad men

real time
daily show
Palin's speech

Gravatar Alls you '...don't own a DVR / TiVo's try this on: I don't own a TeeVee.

Haven't but sporadically even lived w/ one--hate 'em in the hands of veg-ers--'cept but a few times in 14 years. Prefer this.

Daily Show / Colbert via internets is enough. & Joe, The Onion, NPR--online and via radio, NPS Morning Report (what trouble people get into in National Parks nation-wide), Facebook, Grist, Boblog, Le Monde, The Stranger, emails and the daily walks, bike rides, kayakings & face-to-faces rounds it out.

Gravatar My what?

Gravatar I haven't had a television in over ten years, so I have no use for these confounded technologically superfunky whatchyamadoodles. I've been working on expanding my vocabulary. I aspire to be as eloquent a speaker as George W. Bush! Hee, hee.

Gravatar Project Runway, Gossip Girl, Top Design, Daily Show, the new 90210, America's Next Top Model, Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, and Antiques Roadshow. Depressingly, it's been a reality kind of summer -- all that teen shiz started this week.

Gravatar I don't even watch TV anymore, except for the occasional news program. Prefer to curl up with a good book, usually art, poetry, biography, or classics of literature. Much more nourishing than pop cultural trash, and no advertising.

Gravatar Evolve
Project Runway
Daily Show
Colbert Report
Chelsea Lately
Burn Notice (3)
Lewis Black's Root of All Evil
Psych (2)
Rescue Me (
Stargate Atlantis (3)
Stargate: Continuum (Amazon Unbox)
Mad Men (6)
Jurassic Fight Club (2)
Recount

Gravatar Ummm, DVR?? Tivo?? Is that one of those things where you can change the channel or turn down the volume without getting up from the couch?
I thought those were called a "remote", and no I don't have one.

Gravatar the tv broke a few months ago and it is just sitting gathering dust until i take it...somewhere. it is not worth fixing since it is old skool: small screen, kinda big and bulky.

i would not even know how to operate TIVO.

i never even got regular channels on the tv since i did not have cable or even rabbit ears. i just used to watch dvd's occasionally.

am i the only person who still owns a vcr? hahaha. not that i can use it, but i still have it. and vcr tapes.

talk about ice age.

four Astaire/Rogers movies from TCM, on hand just in case for the long weekend house party.

Daily Show/Colbert.

Law & Order (and its spinoffs).

A few really bloody action flicks I'll use to sublimate my reaction to the convention (two with Jason Statham, to sublimate something else).

Gravatar Neither here either, but how bout a list of shows that we/I watch or download (uh, legally of course): Project Runway, Mythbusters, Amazing Race, History Detectives, Office, 30 Rock, Wipeout, Million Dollar Password, Pushing Daisies, Kathy Griffin, and practically any film from 1930-34.

Now if the weather gets cold I'll actually watch some of this stuff. Maybe.

Gravatar Graham Norton

Gravatar Don't have a TIVO or DVR. I don't think I'd get anything done if I had one; although I wish I would have had one for the Olympics!

Gravatar I am rarely in front of the TV so record shows on my Neuros OSD copy them over to my 32GB iTouch, then I will catch up on the stairmaster at the gym, on the train or on my flights between Ottawa and New York.

My shows are:

CBC Newsworld's Morning
La National on RDI
CBC Ottawa Local News
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
The Colbert Report
Lehrer Newshour
Tout le Monde en parle
Final Report

and brainless stuff:

Then you will need to learn to add unnecessary syllables to words and lose the punctuation.

Gravatar - America's Next Top Model
- Project Runway
- Gossip Girl
- 90210 (the new one)
- Secret Diary of a Call Girl

My bf owns the DVR. The moment he moved in, it looked like a 14-year-old girl had taken over. *le sigh*

Gravatar absolutely nothing. I don't have one.

Gravatar "S. Palin wiping her feet [for, after, toward] Obama 'Nobama"

Gravatar They don't work in my house, so I'm not owned by TV.

Gravatar Nothing. After two months of trying to watch a single dvd, I cancelled my Netflix. I am having too much fun outside right now. I will resume indoor stuff in a month or so.

Gravatar Right now it's the PBS broadcast of "The Light in the Piazza", all of this season's "The Closer", an episode of "Jeopardy"(because a friend was a contestant, and the last three years of the Tony Awards, because my partner is a producer and I got on camera all three years. Mom and Dad were sooooo proud!!

Gravatar Don't have either (I thought TIVO was that interactive game?). I use television the way it was meant to be used -- as an opiate of the masses. Though I pay attention for Judge Judy -- love that woman!

Gravatar neither...sob...

and jeezus, that's a long list (including my other post)! i swear, purely for relaxing, and i play the tv in the background when i'm working (painter). hm. perhaps it's time to trim the fat from the DVR....?

Gravatar Don't own one. Don't own a TV.

Gravatar Ace of Cakes, several horror films I wouldn't pay to see in a theater.

Gravatar Comment 100!!! Comment 100!

Ok, sorry, I saw it was at 99 and had to change it...

Oh, and I don't have DVR. Or Tivo. Or a TV for that matter.

Gravatar Mostly a bunch of nonsense I never get around to watching. I did stumble upon McMillan & Wife not too long ago on one of the NYC stations and I hit all the season pass stuff to get it whenever it's on.

Now I occasionally see one pop up on the list and it's a treat to watch. M&W was always my favorite of that revolving series of crime shows - HATED McCloud!

Gravatar i have a totally gay dvr at the moment - a documentary about kenneth williams and round the horne, scissor sisters live in trafalgar square and some international/league rugby matches but by far the most fabulous is a rockumentary about parliament/funkadelic

Gravatar I would treat these objects well and my birthday is 9/23 ...

Gravatar Weeds season 3...highlarious!

And on a more, ahem, prurient note, anyone got info on the musclebear trucker dude that befriends Zooey Deschanel's character in the first episode of Season 3? Nom nom nom, as they say.
