I cannot say whether ChristopherM is racist or not, but I would say his use of the word nigger in the above sentence was not racist. It is not racist the way the word nigger is not racist in "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" or "To Kill A Mockingbird."
You may disagree with ChristopherM's conclusion about you Tex, but he used the word nigger to make a point about your use of the word cunt. He did not "use" the word nigger the way you have been "using" the word cunt. It's about objectifying people in a way that belittles them by using words that have a historical ability to empower the user at the expense of the usee, built on a history of inequal power relationships. Getting away from the appropriateness/political correctness of certain words for a moment... the only problem that I have with Tina Fey's portrayal of Palin is that Fey's native intelligence and sense of humor shows through; unlike the person she's portraying/parodying, she comes across as human. If Palin had one tenth of one percent of Fey's charm, this race would be a lot closer than it is.

I did a search of the main page of his blog. I found 6 examples of the word bitch and its derivatives.
2 were used in a pejorative manner in reference to women.
1 was used in a complimentary manner in reference to a woman.
2 were used in a complimentary manner in reference to musical groups which included both men and women.
1 was used in a pejorative manner in reference to himself.
I did not read enough of the blog to determine without a doubt that ChrisopherM is a raging misogynist like Tex, but I still think these uses of the word bitch do not disqualify him from calling Tex on his bigotry.
