I don't think a gay person supporting McCain is or should be any more derided than anyone else who chooses to vote for McCain. And, I don't think anyone should be derided for supporting whoever they think is best. Fortunately our system seems to put the two parties pretty close together in terms of philosophy. PErsonally, it'd be much scarier if the election were between the Socialist party and the Liberterian party. All we have ot do is look at Nader and Barr to see that our choice is actually pretty good.
