Thai

Gravatar American

Gravatar malaysian

Gravatar I don't have a favorite. I like everything equally.

But if I had to choose, it'd have to be Italian (as in regional Italian, not Italian-American).

Gravatar My favorite food (as in meal, vs. indulgent snacks or deserts) is still pizza, but that's hardly ethnic or foreign anymore.

Lately that honor has gone to a good steaming plate of Pad Thai.

Gravatar probably Indian at the moment, although I love sushi too

Gravatar I'm going to go with Thai, though I also love Mexican. (And italian... and polish...)

Gravatar Mexican of course.(real Mexican)

Gravatar thai food...it's delicious and good for the cardiovascular system.

Gravatar Japanese, Korean and Indonesian in that order.

Gravatar I think Humble Pie is foreign, ain't it?

Gravatar Thai

Gravatar Beefcake knows no nationality.
(But I love Italian)

Gravatar Basque. We have a GREAT Basque place here in Boise.

Gravatar Vietnamese,Indian (N. and S.)

Gravatar Latin American foods. ¡Muy rico!

Gravatar As of late, it's been a toss-up between Thai and Indian.

Gravatar Thai----inventive and flavorful---never a dull moment or disappointing!

Gravatar I couldn't pick and I don't want to subject you to a list =). My taste buds are the sluttiest part of me, apparently - they get all over!

Gravatar Indian!

Gravatar Thai

Gravatar Thai.

Gravatar Peanut butter and jelly.

So ... um ... THAI!

Gravatar Thai for me 2.

Gravatar I grew up in a Pennyslvania Dutch kitchen, where the food is traditionally hearty, starchy and relentlessly bland. Which probably explains why I (and my siblings) love spicy food so much. Even through I really dislike coconut, I love Thai food (I can find plenty of things without coconut or coconut milk), and we have two local Indian restaurants with great buffets where my vegetarian sister and I can both graze quite happily.
Also, find me a Mexican place with good flautas and fish tacos, and I'm happy.

Gravatar Good Mexican for sure.

Gravatar 1. Lechon Asada (Cuban)
2. Seafood Paella (Spanish)
3. New Orleans Beignets

Gravatar Italian

Gravatar Thai? Really? I don't like fish head soup.

Gravatar A joke: The problem with German food is that an hour later, your hungry for power.

My favorites are Thai and Indian food. A lot of Indian is just "slop" but it's so good.

Gravatar Vietnamese. Hands down!

Gravatar Japanese.

Last night I ate trotter soup at Hakata Tonton.

Very delicious, although I still prefer sushi.

Gravatar (you're)

Gravatar Mexican. Duh! I live in Tucson where even the Taco Bell is fairly palatable.

Gravatar Japanese

Gravatar mmm, Italian or Indian.

Gravatar Indian. Thai. Mexican. Korean. Anything spicy!

Gravatar Thai. Indian is a close second.

Gravatar I love it all, but if I had to choose...Japanese.

Gravatar At the moment is Indian but usually I'll go for Japanese.

Gravatar Indian and Thai. And Southern home cooking.

Gravatar South Indian. Check out Udapi Palace vegetarian if you are anywhere near Santa Clara.

Gravatar Thai or French Canadian.

Gravatar Japanese, hands down...

Gravatar Indian

Gravatar Vietnamese or Indian. I could eat either every single day...as long as I could have a rare ribeye steak every now and then.

Gravatar Indian food, especially when homemade.

But you also can't go wrong with French, especially Provencal cooking.

Gravatar Indian

Gravatar Greek food

Gravatar Italian!

Gravatar Thai generally, drunken noodles specifically.

Gravatar Canadian.

Gravatar Just kidding. But I notice there are no votes for British cuisine. But come to think of it I do love fish and chips. But otherwise what else do the Brits have? Boiled meat?

Gravatar Since I've already said I like Thai I'll now be a little more specific. My favorite Thai dish is panang curry.

Gravatar TomF -- plenty. Full English breakfast (eggs, bacon, white and black pudding, baked tomatoes, baked beans, fried mushrooms); summer pudding (bread, butter, sugar, strawberries/raspberries) served with whipped cream -- heavenly; steak and kidney pie; Cornish pasties; roast goose; and bangers and mash to name a few.

Gravatar Thai/Malay cuisine

Gravatar Tex-Mex.
Tex-Mex.
Tex-Mex.

My partner, who is Scandinavian and talks funny, occasionally threatens me with something called "Ludafisk" (I probably am spelling this wrong).

Apparently, it is rotted fish soaked in lye, or something equally monstrous.
Yum.

Gravatar East village Indian. It has been a while. Is sixth street still wall to wall with $7 lunch buffet?

Gravatar In no particular order: Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Mexican...

Gravatar Japanese

Gravatar oh just anything Rachael Ray throws together...

Gravatar Tuscan.

Gravatar Hubby's home cooking - every night after work! He's Eyetalian - lots of pasta.

Gravatar I LOVE mexican food!!!!

Gravatar Mexican is good, but I have to give the edge to Chinese.

Chicken and green beans over white rice? Heaven. Black pepper chicken? Sheer bliss.

Gravatar Japanese!!!

Gravatar Italian - Big and thick!!!

though I love to cook and eat Indian

Gravatar Anything that consists of a bunch of small, varied bites/tastes: spanish tapas, middle eastern mesa, chinese dim sum, etc.

Gravatar Thai and Indian are tasty and when I get a hankering for them, they are so satisfying. Nevertheless, I would get sick of them after awhile.

However, I could eat GOOD REAL Chinese food and pizza every single day.

Gravatar italian and japanese, with an emphasis on the seafood side of things as it were

Gravatar Antarctican. Icy but flatus free.

Ethiopian is also delish.

Gravatar I was in love with Indian forever, but have been having a recent, very steamy affair with Ethiopian.

Gravatar Mexican!

Gravatar Ethiopian, especially since I can indulge my inner kid by eating it with my right hand.

Otherwise, Japanese or Italian for me.

Gravatar I like Indian food, but I love Vietnamese men.

Gravatar @JohnnyCB

Yes, 6th Street is still the way you remember it =)

Gravatar white trash cuisine

Gravatar "American" is my favorite foreign cusine. I'm from New Orleans, remember...

Gravatar 1. Italian
2. Chinese
3. French

Gravatar Thai.

Gravatar Indian, Caribbean...yum!

Gravatar young and eager to please Mexican waiters

Gravatar People like me have such a problem with choosing ONE favorite. When confronted with an overly long menu, I freak out and have a hard time deciding. I'm also a total omnivore with almost no food "issues." Who can decide!? I guess I'd go with the following 4 in no particular order:

1. Thai
2. Mexican
3. Japanese
4. Italian

But I also LOVES me some Ethiopian, Spanish, German, Vietnamese, Lebanese/Mideastern, Greek and French.

Gravatar Jeebus! How could I forget Indian!? And everything else everyone else said. Too bad that travel-food writer fate thing didn't work out for me... sigh.

Gravatar cu*i* sine... sorry. I need more coffee. Coffee with chicory, au-lait, no sugar.

Gravatar I think my favorite foreign cuir-sine is gay food.

Gravatar Italian, Indonesian, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Spanish, Belgian, French, Greek

How come nobody's mentioned Argentinian? Every other restaurant in Amsterdam is an Argentinian Steak Grill, somebody must be eating there.

Gravatar Canadian.

Gravatar ethnic - Italian
foreign - Laotian

Give me a break I always split hairs!

Gravatar New England -- or any fish or shellfish as long as it's FRESH. (Not too hard as I live in Rhode Island).
.

Gravatar Champagne

Gravatar Thank you John from Noo Awlnz; I was about to ask what is this foreign cuisine of which they speak?

Gravatar Thai

Gravatar TEX MEX!

Gravatar Arab food prolly tops...best snacking for hot weather
followed by Malaysian, Thai and Chinese (the real kind without sugar in everything)

oh and then El Salvadoran pupusas, Jamaican curried goat, oh dammit everything.

Gravatar Mmmm, Indian.

I also like anything with andioulle sausage and cajun seasoning.... so cajun?

This thread is making me hungry.

Gravatar Thai, Japanese and Indian, not necessarily in that order.

Gravatar Thai, but not the version for "farang"

Gravatar mexican

Gravatar Irish.

Gravatar SubtleKnife -- what is the deal with all those Argentinian steak houses in Amsterdam? I can't eat Argentinian because I'm vegetarian and all they eat is meat -- tons of meat. They grill their meat for family picnics using a grill the size of a king bed frame! Major meat eating. Someone from Argentina correct me if I'm wrong and this is no longer the case.

ps Moroccan food is also delish

Gravatar Vietnamese, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Mexican.
I have only had Malaysian food a few times but it was amazing.

Gravatar Traditional French & Thai.

Gravatar Indian and Spanish.

Gravatar I'm in the mood for a little Mexican...

Gravatar Tex-Mex currently, but when I lived near a Hungarian/Eastern-Euro cafe they would have won hands down for pastries.

Gravatar Vietnamese and Mexican.

Gravatar 1.Thai 2. Mexican, Brazilian steakhouse

Anything Fusion of American-other worldly foods

Gravatar Republican. Those jell*o salads are really tasty.

Gravatar Sushi

Gravatar North Carolina style pork barbecue, with hushpuppies and cole slaw.

Gravatar THAI!

Gravatar Indian, Thai, and Japanese. In that order.

Gravatar Japanese, Korean, Mexican

Gravatar Tuscan Italian, and Interior Mexican
