Ah, at last! And here goes, from me for you:
- I adore Fadul's last name. (Say it with me, folks: Fadul. Fadooool. Doesn't it just roll off your lips?)
- I love the contrast between Fadul's normal soft-spoken ways and his sudden no-holds-barred guffaw. Hundreds of decibels ang layo, I swear.
- I adore Fadul for being the only person EVER to apologize to me by paying me...one peso, to be exact. That was a landmark moment in my young life.
- I love Fadul for actually getting the phrase "so many books, so little time."
- I luuurve Fadul's Fantasia voice. Loves it.
- I adore how the phrase "you're the best listener that I've ever met" sounds neither exaggerated nor cliche when applied to Fadul. Snaps, and thanks ad infinitum.
- And I adore how, no matter how long or short the time has been since we last talked, Fadul and I can always pick up where we left off. I adore how with you, doing your own thing and changing and growing up have never had to mean growing apart.

You actually made me teary-eyed with that one. Para sa 'yo:
- First of all, I adore that you know how to flatter me. Hehehe.
- I love that you are comfortable enough with me to get dressed in the same room.
- I adore your loyalty to your friends. You really listen to what they have to say and try to help them out (even if sometimes this takes you to, ahem, uncharted depths?).
- I love your true-blue kaladkarin-ness. You're one of the few people who understand the implications of this phrase: kung sa'n man tayo dalhin ng ating mga paa. Hwahahah.
- I adore your voice and your dedication to your music. Let's sing more of the Indigo Girls, okay?
- I adore your shabby chic approach to fashion. And I love that you show me stuff you just bought. That's hot.
- I love it when I hear you talk about the current realities (i.e, ang bayan). It's so refreshing to connect with someone who actually gives a shit about what's happening/not happening.
- I love that, while you've changed so much physically (and here we turn back to the day when combing was deemed irrelevant), you've stayed essentially the same person. Honestly. Haha, I just realized why you hate it when I try to give you big hairdos.
- And, most of all, I love how open we've become to each other. I love you for the long talks over coffee. I love that when we have serious conversations, the moments of silence are never uncomfortable, but reassuring. Thank you thank you thank you.

What I like about Fadul…
The laugh. Who doesn’t like Fadul’s laugh? It’s so genuine. Sasabayan pa na pag-cover ng mukha, pagtalikod, at paglalakad ng ilang paces away from you. Then babalik sayo, tsaka ka hahampasin.
Sudden bursts into song or a spike approach. Hehehe. Mas madalas ka pa atang gumagawa nyan kesa sakin. hehehe
The commentary texts after AI. Inaabangan ko parati yun.
Really good taste…in music, clothes, stuff, food, movies, shows(except for his inexplicable love for Buffy) hahahaha.
Fadul knows who he is and is proud of it (although he might disagree with this). But in my eyes, he never tried to hide who he is and how he is. I really admire that.
Fadul is determined. If he wants to go to the ‘john’, NO AMOUNT OF INTERESTING INFORMATION YOU CAN OFFER CAN STOP HIM.
Fadul has veto power. If he doesn’t want something or go somewhere, he says no. I salute you for that.
Fadul has become very open to us. He doesn’t know how happy he makes me every time he tells me something. It’s like he’s sharing a part of himself every time. Something sincere, something real.
I admire how much Fadul has grown. In size (kidding), in heart, in mind and most importantly in us (awwww).
I’m glad to have been friends with you. We get each other.

Was going to start with a defense of Buffy, then decided against it. Para kay Patrick Ablir:
- I love that you are cool with being hailed by your surname.
- I adore your voice. Everyone knows this. I love how passionate you are about your music, and how you seem to be consumed by it when you’re performing onstage. Ultra snaps! You might not be aware but I plug your gigs shamelessly. Shame-less-ly.
- I love it when you do impressions of that blond bombshell, Mary Cherry. (“Are you tender?” Hahaha.)
- I’ve told you a thousand times that I admire how you came out, starting with your folks. It takes great guts to do that. Not to mention an overwhelming knowledge of who you are, and courage to be honest to yourself and those you love.
- I adore that you spend a lot of time just thinking… about life and love and all that jazz.
- Even if you say you hate being “pathetically available,” I love how you spend your idle time: taking pictures, trooping over to the nearest ukay-ukay, etc. Alone time is therapeutic, trust me.
- I love your conversation capabilities. It’s effortless for you, really. You have this great big store of wonderful ideas that can fuel hours of talk, talk, talk.
- I adore that you handle problematic people SO well. Whereas I just scream and pound my head, you manage to say the right things and give them a piece of your mind, without being mean. Usually. Heheh.
- And, I love that we are good friends. We’ve gotten much closer over the past few months, haven’t we? I love that now I can tell you nearly anything and be accepted wholly.
This is really addictive. Next!

I adore:
how you seem so big and scary physically but actually gentle when we talk (except when you laugh - see below)
your contagious no-holds-barred laugh that can cheer up the saddest person in the room
how we girls feel comfortable talking about ANYTHING even if/especially when you're around
your wit, humor and creativity
how undisclosed and confidential stuff seem so safe with you (are they? *wink*)
you, pop culture freak
how we have kept in touch, even if we don't see each other anymore
wait! here's one more:
I adore how you've been my only blockmate that's been at my house. haha

For Marife (a.k.a. Fifi, Marf, Smurf)
I adore...
- how put together you are, considering your hectic work sked, application to a grad school, etc. Even as a student you never really seemed bothered by all the work piled on you. Snaps!
- your high school grad pic. (I don't think I've seen the college version.) It's so 1960s Hollywood!
- how we have the same taste in movies and TV shows!!! Yay. Loves Wong Kar-Wai and Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
- that you're so modest when people call you the quintessential beauty and brains.
- that you await the Oscars with as much anticipation as I do.
- how you approach sensitive topics with such tact and class. Snaps ulit!
See you soon (sa despedida niyo kung saan maraming-maraming pagkain!)
