First up, I am not a Christian nor do i follow any other faith. So I see this with different eyes. I would argue that as a secular state the USA should not have references to God in it's oaths, but I understand why religious people might think differently.
But as for the boy scouts, why would anybody object to them being asked to be morally straight? Morals are a part of a nations culture, they come from many sources, religious ones included, and represent the ideals of a nation. It seems pretty stupid not to want the boy scouts to be morally straight.
