I heard Chuck Swindoll's lectures on Paul a while back, very compelling.
Christianity wouldn't be where it is today had it not been for him, of course, that was God's plan.
Liberal theologians don't seem to like him.
Interesting what you said about the Greek Orthodox church, btw.

You know, I kinda had a thing against him but a great sermon on sexual purity last year at chapel and this book have gone a long way to changning my mind. I disagree with him some but I love how he constantly brings the text into today and gets you thinking about what you can change in your life in light of the passage.
