Hmmm. . . .
Sounds like you attend a Fellowship church or something.

Actually, Fellowship Dallas (where I attend) DOES NOT believe in team teaching. In fact, they specifically AVOID it! I know they're "related" to Fellowship in Little Rock where team teaching has been championed, but they differ big-time in this area.

yea, our church--which claims the Fellowship model but is more in line with Denton Bible--is the same way. I approached the pastor about team teaching once and he was not very receptive to the idea. But for all the reasons you cite I think its an ideal model. However, I don't think you can point to either model as "biblical" (not that you claimed that: you didn't). There's a lot of amibiguity on this type of stuff, I think.
Generally, when I think of the Fellowship model I think of FBCLR. I'm finding the Texas model to be simply another brand of Bible church rather than anything necessarily "innovative."
More than you expected from me on this kind of topic, I'll wager!

Lucky steelers? I don't know, but I'm rooting against the Patriots, so I'm with you.
I totally agree on the Texas Fellowship model = bible church model. And I also agree on the point you made that "team teaching" isn't a biblical mandate but that practically in our culture, it's the model I think best reaches the "goals" of the Bible.
