Is Willow Creek technically emergent? I really am seriously asking - i didn't know.

I don't think Willow could really be defined as emergent. Perhaps I am reading too much from my limited experience there. Still, from that brief time it seemed to me that they were aware of the shift in our culture that has taken place from the boomers to now and seem to be taking some "emergent-like" steps towards addressing the change.

However ... ahem ... I do think that the Emergent Church is ALWAYS wrong in EVERYTHING they do.

I'll help! Carson is my hero.
I don't know squat about the emergent stuff, though, if the generalization is right that as a movement (oops, conversation) emergent focuses on story as opposed to proposition, I'd suggest it won't last 20 years.
OK, I'm done for the day. I've got to go scrub toilets.

Emerging? Isn't that synonymous for relative Truth?

I am a fan of U2. The "emerging church" is a concession to people who love their labels.

Whoops... I thought that was your attempt at speaking to the issue. I now see the comment in its appropriate category. Very satisfying.
