Is there ANY information on our continual lack of rainfall? Every prediction I have seen, from the Lawrenceville Weather Blog to Accuweather's Winter Forecast and Kurt Mellish's UKMET rain forecasts calls for ABOVE-AVERAGE rainfall this winter...due to the El Nino conditions. As I have seen, November was at or below-average for rain and we have not had a single drop this December (through the 8th), with none forecast at least the next 7 days (through December 15th). This is really concerning me, as we were way below average in rain last Fall-Winter (when the water tables usually re-fill)...AND, we had a long, hot, very dry Summer 2006. Bottom line....when do you think we will pull out of this drought and get some rain like the Pacific Northwest is having now and New England had this Summer/Fall?! Georgia was in full drought from 1998-2003, had 1-2 years of normal rain and now we're in a drought yet again.
