Thanks for the comments, and I enjoyed your article writerchick. You are correct, it's not what we say or write, it's what we do that counts.

Great Post! Thanks.
I wrote a blog about THEOCRACY - to establish dominion and control over a society in the name of GOD! Huckabee is another Bush!

You are all wet. Hukabee is NOT a pro-war Christian. He has said that Bush's foreign policy is arrogant. He has been the Govenor of Arkansas for 10yrs. When he left it had a surplus. This shows he already knows how to govern. Theocracy-please-give me a break. Stop the fear mongering. It is getting old. And don't start out by saying that you are a "christian" and have all these reservations about Hukabee. You are probably a card carrying ACLU guy.

"And don't start saying that you are a "christian" and have all these reservations about Huckabee."
So... you can't be a Christian and disagree with Huckabee? Is that what you're saying? I also never used the word "theocracy", but I'd say changing the constitution to fit religious beliefs would be a step in that direction.
As far as his war stance, here's some quotes from the CFR website (http://www.cfr.org/bios/13301/#12)
"He calls the war on terror “generational” and “ideological” and argues that the United States is actually “engaged in a world war.”"
"Huckabee has criticized the Bush administration's handling of the war. "We did not send enough troops to Iraq initially," he wrote."

So are you saying we shouldn't fight against terrorists?? It seems as if you were REALLY a Christian, that Life, Traditional marriage, and Religious freedom would be at the top of your list on whom to vote for.
You ignore the fact that Hukabee is the ONLY candidate that is Pro-Life, Pro-traditional Marriage, Pro-Religious Freedom. All the rest just say they are to get the social conservatives vote.
That is why I "question" those who "say" they are "christian" BUT don't like Hukabee. Just tell the truth why don't you and just say that you are an atheist, ACLU-loving, God-hating person and that's why you don't like Hukabee.

I think we should fight real terrorists, not countries we choose to invade.
How can you be pro-religious freedom... and want to change law and policy to match your own belief?
You speak as though being Christian only gives you one option. You also assume to know what every Christian would vote for. This is the one-way street mentality that I wanted to speak against. Christians can be diverse and think for themselves. You have equated not voting for Huckabee to equal not being a Christian. Come on man, open your eyes, God didn't program us to be machines. We can both be Christian and disagree on certain topics.

First, let me share the facts:
**Democrat CFR member Candidates:**
Barack Obama: Also, his wife Michelle Obama is on the Board of Directors in the Chicago branch of the CFR.
Hillary Clinton
John Edwards
Chris Dodd
Bill Richardson
**Republican CFR member Candidates:**
Mitt Romney
Rudy Giuliani
John McCain
Fred Thompson
Newt Gingrich
Mike Huckabee: Huckabee is not a CFR member, though he named Richard Haas, president of the CFR, as his adviser on foreign policy. On Feb. 21, 2006, Hass wrote a column for the Taipei (China) Times titled, "State Sovereignty Must Be Altered in Globalized Era." This is an explicit solicitation for global government. Here is the article --http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/editorials/
archives/2006/02/21/2003294021
So what is the "CFR" anyway?
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is David Rockefeller's private thinktank. This group has nothing to do with our government since it is entirely private. This group is pro-war and pro-North American Union (loss of American sovereignty and loss of Constitutional protections). You can read more about this group at --

Here's a short video of a discussion between Dick Cheney (ex-director of CFR) and David Rockefeller, which reveals their close-knit ties --

Great post! Gov. Huckabee fails to distinguish between the duties of the state and the duties of the individual Christian. His intellectual and theological sloppiness is not merely offensive, but it is also dangerous.

Huckabee is just insane - rambling to get the Christian Conservative votes (sound too similar to Bush's tactics during his 2nd run for office).
