Any word on when Vox will respond? I read EP's post, but it mostly looked like a lot of claims and not a lot of argument.
That the reformation is a heresy not put down by the Church is obviously a belief held by the Church; but I didn't really see the part where he explained why Luther's claims were against the church, or why the church was somehow absolved of their lack of response to this "heresy" because of a threat to their political empire. Also, the equating of Christendom to Christianity is a fundamental point of dispute between many Protestants (at least this one) and the Roman Catholics, and is purported by the author a little too readily. I'm sure he has reasons for these beliefs, but I don't think he organized his arguments very well, and these points really need to be addressed.
I'm seriously interested to see Vox's response.

No clue on when Vox will respond.
Maybe sometime later today, as I think Vox has been busy with watching the Champions League.

That view kind of completely ignores that the Roman church was only ONE of nine at the time claiming apostolic pedigree.
It was (as I recall) the only one to claim universal headship over the other patriarchs (a headship the others never acknowledged).
