do you recall robert duncan's "my mother would be a falconress"?
a big squeeze of a poem.
then there are george oppen's "of being numerous" poems.
and josephine miles' poems: just look at "family" and some of her others. (she was a milton scholar. i wonder if you'd ever think that from her poems.)
also, ann stanford's poem "our town". (both ann and josephine were in yvor winters class--and jo was booted-out.)(winters has a poem abt looking to the hills from pasadena that would have you wonder abt his other poems.)
how abt robinson jeffers poem to his boys, those twins, warning them off from the thickening center.
