Born Again Redneck in the State of Jefferson

Gravatar The brutality which the USA and others inflicted upon Germany and Japan crushed their respective systems utterly. And then the USA helped them rebuild. Today, they are respected democracies and influential powers.

I think one problem we face today lies in our reluctance to embrace the results which were obtained by our WWII policy of complete and total destruction. When we leave remnants of the prior system in place, rebuilding becomes much more problematic.

It is in our own self-interest to excise cancer completely, prior to initiating attempts to heal.
