Oprah is the media messiah counterpoint to Obama, the political messiah she has so actively promoted with her time and resources. Both of these individuals are devoid of any real substance or true intelligence.
Personally, I believe the worst thing Oprah has perpetrated upon her followers recently isn't B. Hussein, but Eckhart Tolle, her "spiritual mentor and guide". Scary.
As much as I want to slap O's face, I'm not sure it's fair to bring up her sexuality. I am straight but haven't found the right person to settle down with so am particularly close to my best girlfriend and I can see where people would think we are a couple. It's not a big deal, I just feel a little uncomfortable being too severe on her and commenting with certainty when we really don't know - do we?

Carol, It's not her sexuality that's the issue. It's her hypocrisy. But you are right we don't know for sure so I will delete that bit.
Oprah's got a boyfriend, some white dude, for several years now.
With that minor bit of defense, such as it is, I have to say I hope Sarah doesn't go on the show, it would probably be an ambush in one form or another. It would have to be uncomfortable at the very least.
Besides, it makes a good issue. Not so much for Palin and McCain, but for the many Republican candidates running for the Senate and House, who can point to Oprah's refusal to invite Palin on her show as a talking point in their own campaign appearances, as an example to point to of the inherent unfairness of the liberal media.
Why kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Oprah's actions are a gift.

I TOTALLY agree with you about her hypocrisy. I am SO over her.
Besides, if it is true about her, we don't want to be giving our lesbian friends a black eye.
Right on PT. We don't want Sarah to be known as a celebrity. She has much more important things to do than sit on Miss O's stupid couch that is infected with Mr. Tom's creepy cooties. Hee, hee.
Egads! I didn't mean my last comment to sound like it does - about the black eye. Eeek!
