You know what I really hate? Even more than liberals? Even more than stupidity? Even more than dropping heavy things on my toe?

I HATE PERFUME!

Not just perfume, but all the "scented" crap that people use all over the place. Hair products. Laundry soap. Air "freshener."

How about my personal favorite, "deodorant." Tell me, how exactly do you "de-odor" something by adding... ANOTHER ODOR? Irony, anyone?

I hate hate hate HATE breathing air that has been polluted by foul-smelling all pervasive perfumes. I think it is high time the government legislated something to prevent this environmental catastrophe once and for all.

OK, that last sentence is hyperbole. I almost never favor MORE government. But seriously, how can government make such a "stink" about only some pollutants, like CO2 (which is as natural as oxygen and makes plants grow, by the way) while totally ignoring pollutants that cause allergies, asthma, and general discomfort for millions of people who have the misfortune of sharing space with someone who smells like the perfume counter at the department store?

Brut is disgusting but I love some perfumes such Hermes Caleche and Equipage but they cost $1,000 an ounce and can only be used sparingly. It's the socalled "perfumes" in detergents that are revolting.
