Gravatar Thanks for your comments Dave. I would love to see you have a web presence for your campaign and beyond. It is fastly becoming a great tool for politicos from both sides of the spectrum. I said the other night to Florence Gatten, who also said something about attendence, that it doesn't matter how many people are there, the audience for this event is online. The people who are reading the blogs of the people who were there. Thanks again and good luck with your campaign.

Gravatar Thanks for mentioning me in your blog. I hope some of my other answers were satisfactory as well. I thought that the forum was well done, the format was lively, and the questions very thought provoking. I'm glad you were there, but I wish more people had attended.

Gravatar I don't think any candidate gave a good answer on the wireless Internet question (as I recall). The question was about city support and specifically asked if wireless internet access should be thought of as "public infrastructure" or if it should be left up solely to private enterprise. Nobody addressed the heart of the question.

Gravatar You and David Hoggard both regard Mr. Subasavage's answer on the partner benefits question as a kiss of death. I'm not so sure. For one thing, I really respected him for giving an honest answer. He wasn't mean. He was simply giving us a straight look (no pun intended) into his opinions.

Furthermore, there are enough voters in Greensboro who have the same feelings about gay and lesbian issues as Mr. Subasavage or for whom it's not an important issue, that I don't think his answer to that one question is going to make him unelectable.
