"Is it hate to oppose Gay marraige?" -- Chip
Jay asked you a direct question: Does what goes on in homosexual relationships affect you in anyway? No it doesn't, and that you want to deny people the same rights that you have because you don't approve of something they do privately that doesn't affect you, if not hatred, is certainly small-minded and hard-hearted.

Actually Jay- I think both parties sell out for votes when it comes to immigration. I heard Maura Liasson (NPR)say that Pete Wilson's tough stance on immigration won him the California election, but 10 years later that stance cost the Republicans California.
My industry is like yours, but we require licensing. It is jobs like yours that Bush and every living Democrat in Congress are saying Americans no longer want to do.
Maybe they're right. I know there will always be little nitches- small companies will fill the demand for high quality. I just resent the fact that we are not allowed to compete on a level playing field in our own cities.

On Immigration, talk to the Republican led Congress and White House, they control the floor and in turn, the bills.

The Swiftboaters were effective because they told the truth.
People against gay marraige do not hate gays. People who beleive gay sex is wrong do not hate gays. I believe all sex outside of marraige is wrong. But it is just wrong to say I hate unmarried people who have sex.
Robinson may be caustic, but he tells us exactly what he believes in. I don't like his tone, but I agree with him on every issue. He's not a bigot, he's conservative.
Miller may be a class act, but most of his consituents would feel betrayed if they knew he supported Gay rights. I feel he and most of Congress should be ashamed over their lack of leadership on immigration.

Christspeak,
What Miller hypocricy? You show me one Congresman or Senator, Democrat or Republican, that at one time or another hasn't voted for an amendment to a bill and then against the entire bill to which the Amendment was made. It's as common place as breathing.
Where's the hate? Your kiding right? It is hateful to hate someone for a singular reason, particularly a lifestyle choice. Does what goes on in homosexual relationships, behind closed doors, personally affect you in any way what so ever? I don't like organized religion, but I don't want to make you less then human over it. It is the way you feel inside, but in the end religious people and gay people are just that, people. That is the way they should be treated. It is by no means a political talking point, or at least it shouldn't be.
To run on the anti-gay platform in politics is dispicable and only a bigot would do this.
The swiftboaters were not truthful, at least not to those who of us who aren't gullible. They twisted the truth just like Vernon does.
I don't see how you got to your conclusion, because the only thing I proved is that all political ads are suspect. They twist fact and make it work for the opposition, that is deceptive and most of all HATEFUL to the voting public.
I figured you woud show support fr Vernon. Like minds think alike.

So he did vote against the fence. Point Robinson. He's not clear about Gay marraige, but Matt Hill says he's supportive. Point Robinson. Ditto on the burning flag.
And the Swift boaters were absolutely truthful. Where's the hate bro? Is it hate to oppose Gay marraige? Is it hate to expose Miller's hypocricy and doublespeak about borders? Is it hateful to accuse someone of lying when your own argument proves he's telling the truth. Yessir!
