You remind me of my daughter and her reading.
Someone could come in and steal everything out of the room including her in her bed, reading and carry them out to the truck, and drive off.
She would most likely discover the situation when she either finished the book or had to go to the bathroom.

Papa Ray,
Yes, I can understand your daughter all too well. I'm not so bad as I used to be, but I have to admit I've missed more than one stop of the subway with my nose stuck in a book.
Thanks for stopping by.

Dude..that is me too.
I read so much my parents were worried. When I had to get glasses, my mom actually asked the doctor if too much reading would have caused it.
When I was grounded they would make me go to my room. I didn't mind because I read. Then they got smart and started taking my books away.
Now I read a book a week, sometimes two if I am travelling on a plane.
I have stacks of books at my house and that does not include the books I've give away, sold or donated to libraries and such.
I have a giant childrens bible that I now share with my nephews. the pictures are great.
