As a NP myself and nurse anesthetist student I can tell you without any hesitation that health care providers make the worst patients. You already knew that I'm sure. Now that your surgery is over, thank God, you can get back to life in the fast lane and deal with recovery, studying and family. All of these things are so much more fun than anticipating a potentially painful proceedure. Good luck with your studies and recovery. All the best from the "Average Man" DG.

So glad to hear all went well and wishing you a speedy recovery. You are right about being more empathetic for being on the other side of the bed once in awhile. I'm feeling the empathy for parents with sick kids after 2 ER trips and several days in the hospital with my little one!

I'm glad that everything went well. When I read about how long you were waiting, all the behind-the-scenes stuff flashed through my head: how surgeries can go longer than expected (maybe like the case before yours?), the instrumentation delays, and other factors like that. Ultimately, this adds on to your waiting time and anxiety! Well it's over, thank goodness... Wishing you a speedy recovery! Regards...
