To me what is most appauling about this is the steroetype of Apu. Its a fine line to walk as you previously stated. Not tarneshing your brand, while at the same time making enough $$ to off set that chance. In all reality here though Kwik - E - Mart and 7-11 really do go hand in hand. I have always thought of the two as the same.

This is probably more of a win for the creaters of Simpsons - The movie then for 7-11's brand.
