Another delight for your delightable readers. Some of the decades are way before my time. This one seems to be after my time. I've heard of Mahler, Outkast, and Pavement (good name for a CPA or law firm?) but that's about it. I look forward to catching up. I liked the inclusion of your journal entry and newsreel. While I don't particularly miss the 90's, I do love the 5th Symphony. I too often contemplate how eireely prophetic of the 20th Century (at least the 1st half of it) if feels.

I settled in San Diego after leaving New York, I recently posted about witnessing the birth of the punk scene: frankly, miss scarlett...

I also have boxes of newspaper clippings. Thank god I now can keep my hobby digital.

For me, The Primitive Radio Gods song is definitely nostalgic. I was going through a nasty divorce at the time and that song's sample was quite a refrain to hear over and over: "I've been downhearted baby, ever since the day we met... "
