Not that this list isn't quite comprehensive, but few deaths struck me as deeply as Danny Federici of the E Street Band...And you really should have an Odetta track on here.

agh--I forgot Federici completely. I had been meaning to include "Hungry Heart" and then just blanked.

and Odetta's one of my blind spots. I thought about including some song out of a sense of obligation, but figured it would be a meaningless gesture.
