I'm glad you have made the link about Creationism & Climate Change deniers.
The bit about the meaning of the Genesis chapters in your article is probably not a good choice though. Modern Bibles have largely left out all the intervening languages. The point would be better made that the genesis myth is inconsistent within its own telling, that it was understood to be non-history by early church fathers and that it is mostly understood nowadays to be a poetic response to the existing creation myths used by neighbouring peoples, but putting a moral element into it.
That Creationists use this stuff for history is telling about their lack of understanding about history, theology and science.
Climate change deniers use many similar tactics as do creationists (and indeed by tobacco lobby scientists before the lid was blown on their lies)
