It doesn't matter what Baird says. It's all lies and means absolutley nothing. Baird got a free trip (betcha he was clubbin like a Beliner!) and Canada got sweet f all for all the posturing Canada's new government pretends. Baird is almost more of an international embarassment that Ambrose was. Will Canada ever field a realistic Minister of Environment in our lifetime?
It could happen. But a likely prerequisite would be either an NDP government, or a PR system where an NDP (or possibly Green) MP - i.e. someone who hadn't sold out all environmental values to join the Libs - took the role in a coalition.
