This is an amazing story and a great post. This really underlines the great stinking pile of shit that has resulted from Bush's extreme interpretation of the dubious principle of American exceptionalism.
As I recall it was the US that established at Nuremberg the idea that rulers of countries should be held responsible for taking their country into unjustified wars of aggression. That concept is too important to allow anybody to exclude themselves from justice.
Zakaria does a beautiful job of framing at the end of the piece, "in case you're wondering why you haven't heard much on all of this from Washington..." Uh huh. But do you think there's any chance of this hitting a wider audience on Situation Room or any other of CNN's more popular programs? I doubt it.
