A Democratic Underground commenter looks into the ownership of the Enquirer HERE.
" What the tabloid's readers, in politics and out, may not know is that a key owner of the Enquirer is a prominent New York investment banker and one of Hillary Clinton's key backers, Roger Altman. Altman was an official in the first Clinton administration, and his name is often mentioned as a possible Clinton Treasury Secretary. "
I can't vouch for the accuracy of that information, but if you read some of the stuff coming out of pro-Hillary sites like Carolyn Kay's Make them Accountable it's not a stretch of the imagination.
Infighting between the progressive left and the corporatist/centrist 'left' still has a chance of handing the White House to McCaveman. The time left for fence-mending is fading fast. With friends like these, who needs enemies?
"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." -- Martin Luther King

The handful of Hillary holdouts still don't get that they've got some GOP plants in their ranks. People like this Altman dude are definitely looking out solely for themselves.
