It's also worth noting that Ollie is all wet on another point: that of "emboldening". Hitler didn't need any. In "Mein Kampf" he laid all his plans out, and all you need to do to know what he was up to was to read the loathsome thing. There was no need for anyone to "embolden" him with a conversation. He was bound and determined to take all of Eastern Europe for Germany, including Russia. Chamberpot didn't have to do a damn thing; even if he hadn't thrown half of Czechoslovakia to Hitler, he'd have taken it anyoldhow.
