i have all her books . i knitted some of it in the late 70's. don't you love the big hair! but i recently revisited her books and knitted an intricately cabled cardigan in 4 ply . that will do me for another 10 years, back to socks

I have these books too. You're right - some of them are OTT - the coat covered in spotted bows - what was she thinking? But I like the fitted shapes, which are right back in fashion again - I have used her sleeve shapings several times - and the fair isles are gorgeous.
