gas prices have definately affected the boating trips we are able to take. We chose the closer boat ramps and shorter boat trips. Like John said, just being on the water is what matters.

I think sleeping aboard and eating aboard are excellent ideas to save money. I do not support increasing trailering distances, though. Maybe use your boats closer to home, of there is any water?
