I read blogs because they facilitate the sorts of conversations that it might take years to get to in "real life". They help me see into the minds and lives of others.
I hold blogs that want my money in a different place. Not always a bad one, but a different place.
Nope, I don't get it either. No adsense for me.
Besides, asking people to pay for reading my stuff!?! I'm just not there.

Thanks for the comment. I just read yet another post at your place that made me laugh out loud.
I don't have any problem with getting paid for my writing, just not on my blog.
That's a tasty insight about facilitating conversation. Seeing into the minds and lives of others is one of my absolute favorite things, ever.

Sigh, a man after my own heart...

"Git 'er done." That was merely my shameless pilfering of a contemporary pop culture phrase. But I did hang with some Texans in the Dallas Fort Worth area that one time, including one who was a Texan via Great Britain, it was pretty sweet.
Eric,
I did a little searching for the logo. There are a few of us loonies around. I'm proud to be associated with them (you), as well as with certain Texans.

Thanks for the links to our survey. The sample size is small and that was explained at the beginning of the survey. We conducted the survey of registered Qumana users to get their feedback. We don't claim unfailing accuracy of the results, but think they are certainly worth consideration.
You should also know that we launched a new version of Qumana today that should increase the potential earnings of bloggers. See www.qumana.com and blog.qumana.com for info.

Tris,
Well, thank you for putting an ad on my blog for your new version. Tell you what, I'll leave it instead of deleting it just because I'm a nice guy
Rationalizing about the small sample size doesn't help the accuracy of the data. But the sample size is only one of a number of problems, not the least of which is the fact that you're making generalized conclusions based on a data set that cannot possibly be random. You're making business decisions based on data that cannot be trusted. That just doesn't make ad-sense.
I simply don't read ad-infested blogs. They don't interest me. But I will happily refer any readers who want to make a shameless commercial disaster of their blog to your new version of Qumana.
Regards,
Jim
