your drop of serotoninrain...

Gravatar What a great story!

I can really see the water and the big white swan.

A good story to share...

Gravatar What an incredible picture you painted.

Gravatar Agreed, you remember him well.

Gravatar Wow, I remember being frightened by Ron Sr. as well. This piece really brought back a lot of old memories for me.

Nice to see you're still writing, Jim.

Gravatar Joel,

Thanks for stopping by. I must apologize for being at a loss trying to pull your name and face up out of the mists of memory (in other words, I'm getting old and can't remember a damn thing anymore).

Plus in the many years since those incidents took place, I spent a decade in Cleveland where another Joel monopolized the synaptic responses to that name. Hope you'll forgive me... and maybe remind me who you are as well.

Gravatar Oh, I was at least once used as a character in a story of yours where we intrepidly spelunked the storm sewers underneath the grounds of Alexander elementary.

I might have even gone by Joe in those days, although that's not the way I recall it.

I'll shoot you an email with more detail.
