I wouldn't say he got what he deserved either, but I do remember wondering a long time ago (when I learned that he had two young children) why a young family man would so endanger his life each and every day. There's something disturbing about the fact that he ultimately succumbed to something as passive as a stingray. Nonetheless, this is very, very sad for his wife and still very young kids.

Yes, very sad. THe news stories today are all talking about the loss to the Australian environmental community but I can't think of anything but his wife, daughter, and son.

Oh, this isn't helping either...now the news is showing clips of him feeding meat to a crocodile while holding his infant son in his arms and then bouncing his son on the ground alongside the croc...I think that's the clip that got me wondering a few years ago! Oy, crikey!!

Call me crazy but that didn't bother me so much. I figured he would have let himself get eaten before his son.

He always tended to really annoy me. Now that he's dead, I'm just kinda shocked.
