Rush is the sort of person who gives "right-wing-nuts" a bad name. Regardless of your political leanings, that was in poor, poor taste. And I believe much of what Rush espouses, but his "preaching to the choir" with extreme rhetoric does nothing to get his messages across to the broader public. "Idiots with media access," indeed. Heh.

I'm not even thinking about it from a red/blue perspective. The guy's just a maniac. I mean, disagree, that's fine... but what's the point in belittling someone who suffers from a debilitating disease? It's just another in the growing list of his sub-human behaviors.

You'd think we'd be able to keep such puddin' heads out of the media stream, but in fact that's where they all seem to migrate.

And people listen to this guy too. Yeesh.

Agreed...just in general, Rush's style does more to divide than educate or enlighten; there is no benefit in being hateful (and in this case, it only demonstrates his callous, insensitive disrespect for his fellow man...there is no excuse for that).

Rush insensitive? I hadn't heard that one. He's opinionated, and has a bit of an ego, but I've never heard him be less than congenial with people on his show.
