your drop of serotoninrain...

Gravatar Hence the reason I switched...oh wait, I already said that. :D

Gravatar I so seriously consider switching frequently but...well...I dunno, I like my blog name. And if the domain was available I would probably just buy it and go solo, but it's not and well...for now, paralyzed by indecision I stay at the mercy of blogger, so I feel your pain.

That said - hadn't you heard? Adolescence now extends to 35. So of course a 20 year old is still a teen - and a young-ish one as well.

And we wonder what's wrong with the world?

Gravatar I ain't switchin'. Here's why: blogger is free, it works (most of the time), it's got all my posts on it, and I am way too lazy to do the work required to migrate the whole thing elsewhere.

Gravatar ~cough~WordPress~cough~

Seriously, migrating from Blogger to Wordpress is a one-step affair. You can get your own domain name, get some hosting, and publish this thing on your own. Then you're not hung up with any of Blogger's hiccups.

Gravatar Yes, but Rick, as of now I don't have to pay for a domain name nor do I have to pay for hosting. Powerful arguments indeed, even if I have to endure the occasional taunts of certain other bloggers.

Gravatar Seriously, check out wordpress.com (as opposed to wordpress.org, where you go to get the full download to install on your own server). They host the site, so you pay for absolutely nothing. You have all the power and pleasure of WordPress with none of the headaches you get elsewhere. Your domain name is http://yourdomain.wordpress.com. They rarely (if ever) have outages and their support is topnotch. Plus, they have this great migration script that brings over ALL your posts and comments. You really ought to check it out.

Gravatar Yeah, what he said. Jim, come on over from the dark side...
