History has a horrible way of repeating itself. Those who say that we should look forward to tomorrow should also remember the successes from yesterday as well as the mistakes from the past.
So why fire the PR firm and set up a load of blogs when you could do both?
Like any recipe, sometimes the ingredients change to get the right mix.

I don't disagree ... the question is, are firms today able to willing to recommend and carry out different types of communications activities?
Especially those that don't fall under the label of traditional activities??

It's going to be the same old story in that a couple of firms will move to take advantage of this trend, profit from it and then the rest will follow.
It might not be the best solution for the market, but that's economics for you.
