Ooh. That's terrible. I know why they thought it was a good idea, but the tactic got in the way of decency.

I remember hearing about a data center company wanting to put out press release post-911 about how their switching technology would have moved customers data to another data center if such a horrible disaster would have happened to be in a building they had servers in. Someway, somehow, they were talked out of it....

I'd like to get the case study on this a year from now...

What a sad press release from US Netcom / PhoneMaster. I agree they should be ashamed. Our school district tried to use their parent notification system last year and it never worked (all hype like their news release). Based on the feedback from other blogs, it looks like the folks over at http://www.usnetcomcorp.com/ are getting what they deserve.
